Media Kit for Author Jeremiah Friedli
Short Bio:
Jeremiah Friedli is a homeschool graduate, lifelong writer, ice cream lover, and native Texan who can imagine danger just about anywhere and anytime. He enjoys getting out in God’s creation, whether that’s hiking, camping, running, or just reading quietly on the porch. His favorite books—the kind he loves to write—are those annoyingly good page-turners that keep him up long after he really should have gone to bed. When he’s not browsing grocery stores for the latest deals on Blue Bell ice cream and frozen pizza, you might find him seated behind a large screen with one of his beloved spreadsheets or watching a movie with his family. Long Bio:
Jeremiah Friedli (sounds like “freed lee”) writes young adult fiction with a thriller feel. Inspired by true stories of spies, chases, battles, and underdogs, he loves reading and writing tales of espionage, intrigue, and suspense. In fact, his incessant imagination can dream up danger in just about any part of real life…and then it finds its way into his stories, whether they’re set in modern times, a scientific future, or some imaginary place of yore.
But it wasn’t always that way. He didn’t enjoy reading until somewhere around his teen years—when he found a love for young adult fiction and never looked back. But while studying intensely for his business degree, he nearly lost his love for reading. Thankfully, once the textbooks were done, he again enjoyed reading—and writing.
As a child, his first “published” work was a one-of-a-kind picture book written and illustrated by himself, put together with construction paper, masking tape, and staples. Over the years, he continued writing, dabbling in flash fiction, poems, short stories, novelettes, novellas, short novels, and novels, sharing many of them with his family and friends. Genres included western, action, mystery, humor, sci-fi, fanciful, fantasy, retelling, and even an interactive mystery-thriller.
In the 2010s he sensed God’s call to do more with his writing. Instead of viewing it as a hobby, he developed a vision to impact others through quality, engaging stories that encourage Christian teens as they follow God. He honed his craft through coaching, writers conferences, books, and online courses. In 2024, Jeremiah successfully crowdfunded his debut novel on Kickstarter, raising over $2500 to prepare for CORE Deception’s full release in early 2025.
Jeremiah is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, Christian Indie Publishing Association, Alliance of Independent Authors, Realm Makers, and an Author Media Mastermind Group.

The CORE Series
A prequel novella and novel already published, more books are on the way. The series features a frozen world where technology and dystopian powers reign. With hacking and espionage, this suspenseful series keeps readers turning pages. Like many sci-fi books, the fictitious future stems from the real world and hints at where it could go.
Inspiration and Creativity
Fostering creativity is vital to a fiction writer. Writers also need a way to capture ideas whenever they come, and a way to determine which ideas get attention first.
Beginnings
Jeremiah started writing at a young age, his homeschool environment fostering his creativity. Numerous people encouraged his imaginative storytelling over the years. At some point his writing transitioned from a fun hobby to an intentional, entrepreneurial undertaking.
Fiction and Christianity
The Bible should influence every area of a Christian’s life, including writing. Writers have Jesus’ example of communicating truths through storytelling. Readers should also be careful that the entertainment they consume aligns with biblical values.
Fear—A Universal Challenge
The main character in the novel CORE Deception, battles fear throughout the book. This theme was chosen for a specific reason, and Jeremiah even offers a companion mini-devotional on the topic. Many people experience some form of fear, and the Bible has answers.
The Business of Writing
A writer shouldn’t ignore the marketing and financial aspects of running a business. Not typically the side of authorship that attracts writers, the business piece can be a challenge to understand and balance with creative storytelling.
